Peta Woodland BSc, GradDipCA is the founder of WOODLAND FOR THE TREES, a bookkeeping and tax practice working fully remotely. With over 20 years of experience in accounting and financial systems, Peta blends deep technical expertise with practical, down-to-earth advice that small businesses can actually use.

She’s a Chartered Accountant, registered Tax Agent, and holds a Certificate of Public Practice. Peta is also a certified advisor for Xero, QuickBooks Online, and now proudly a MYOB Partner—offering tailored solutions across Australia’s leading accounting platforms.

Her career began with a Bachelor of Science from Murdoch University and an early IT qualification that launched her into systems consulting in the hospitality sector. That tech-first mindset still shapes her work today, as she helps businesses streamline operations and build smarter financial systems.

While contracting in London, Peta earned the nickname “Ms Fix It”—solving problems across accounts payable, receivable, and payroll with calm precision. Back in Australia, she formalised her accounting credentials with a Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting from Edith Cowan University, followed by a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting.

Today, Peta supports businesses of all sizes with reconciled accounts, financial reporting, and full compliance services—including BAS, PAYG, and tax obligations.
